At to the lowest degree now when information technology comes to mascara, fickle girls like me don't have to wrestle with difficult choices. We can accept our cake AND eat information technology too, cheers to MAC Haute & Naughty Lash ($18; available in a single shade, Haute & Naughty Black).

The disco turtleneck on the tube (see the pic below) is what MAC calls their "ii-in-one dual wiper system," and it's one of the keys to Haute & Naughty's success.

Unscrewing the wand from the glittery purple finish loads the castor with product — LOTS of production — plenty for dramatic lash book from root to tip with just ane glaze.

But even if you're more than interested in lash length and separation than lash volume, y'all're still in luck!

See, this affair's a little like a Transformer… By disconnecting the wand from the hot pinkish extension stop, the brush loads with less product, resulting in slightly thinner, yet meliorate defined lashes.

Neat, huh?

Whenever I travel, I usually bring at least a couple of different tubes of mascara (I similar having choices), merely Haute & Naughty works similar two tubes in one…which doesn't necessarily mean I won't continue to pack two tubes for every trip, but it does mean I'll accept even More choices than before! 🙂

No matter how it's applied (unless I blitz, but more on that in a sec), Haute & Naughty leaves my lashes feeling light and soft, even subsequently multiple layers. It holds my curled lashes all mean solar day long, besides, without any smudging/flaking, yet it's easy to build upward in layers, quickly and well. That said, even one coat = fatty-bo-batty lashes!

For ladies who are ever in a hurry (I feel ya pain!), consider this: Haute & Naughty turns into a mess-fest when I blitz through its application, and if I use the heavy duty purple end, product always finds its way onto my lids, even if I effort to remove any excess by swiping the brush against a paper towel. Yup, I retrieve dull and steady wins the race when information technology comes to applying Haute & Naughty.

Haute & Naughty would probably exist ane of my favorite dramatic MAC mascaras if it weren't for the $18 price. MAC usually sets the prices of their mascaras between $thirteen-fourteen; Haute & Naughty is kinda similar getting two mascaras in i, simply not quite since information technology costs a little more than. I hope it'due south not a sign of things to come… 🙁

Quibbles bated, I think Haute & Naughty hits most of the correct lash notes in terms of volume, curlicue concord and wearability, and if you lot're a lash junkie always looking for your next lash fissure hit, Haute & Naughty could exist worth a try.
